The side awning awning for the GEAR ROCK ® Kootenay has dimensions of 2500 x 2000mm and offers a large extra space next to the roof tent.
It is attached using a zipper, which is already attached as standard on the Kootenay under the upper shell on both long sides. This gives you flexibility and allows you to choose the site you want to use. A awning can also be attached on the opposite side at the same time. More flexibility is not possible.
The Kootenay is a strong connection that is protected from moisture penetration. Installation is easy: zip on the tent fabric, insert the telescopic corner poles into the eyelets, attach the side stabilization bar, tie it down, and you're done.
Reinforced eyelets on the corners are used to insert the telescopic corner rods, which can be extended up to 2.30m. The guy rope is attached to the protruding spike and secured in the ground using a heavy-duty peg.
A big advantage is the attachment of the awning awning to the upper shell. This gives you a full 85cm of additional height (when unfolded), which is a big advantage, especially for lower vehicles. Compared to the Kootenay awning, the awning awning also offers 3 interconnected side parts. This creates an extra room that you can use in a variety of ways.
The side panels can also be completely zipped off on the left and right and you can use the awning as an awning. So adjust the awning awning completely to your needs.
The entrance opening is on the long side and can be opened downwards to adjust the height using a zipper. The window openings on both sides are also large enough to make it possible to climb through. There are 2 layers of fabric at all openings for maximum protection, mosquito net and tent fabric for closure.
To attach the awning awning to the ground, there are extra eyelet clips which can be attached with pegs at different heights, adapted to the vehicle. Also included are clips for fixing the fabric material on the two telescopic corner rods.
A space-saving awning awning, safely stored in the transport bag. Telescopic poles, pegs and eyelet clips come in extra pockets. The small dimensions when packed also make it easy to stow in the Kootenay.
The GEAR ROCK ® Kootenay awning awning is suitable for standard size Kootenay as well as Kootenay X-Large.
