GEAR ROCK ® Kootenay hard shell roof tent

The GEAR ROCK ® Kootenay is a 2-person hard shell roof tent with a parallel opening top shell. The strong gas pressure springs enable assembly in just 30 seconds and are also so stabilizing that no lever locking is necessary.

The tent material consists of a cotton/polyester blend (280g/sqm), which reinforces ripstop and is therefore particularly tear-resistant. It is also PU-coated on the inside to prevent moisture from being passed on (protection against mold formation)

The GEAR ROCK ® Revelstoke is a 2-person aluminum hard shell roof tent with triangular opening. This design is the fastest to unfold version on the market.

The aluminum roof tent impresses with its stability despite its low weight. The ultra-flat design at only 17cm is particularly suitable for taller vehicles such as vans, SUVs and pick-ups. Despite the low height, the lower shell is also fully insulated and offers the usual protection.

The stable aluminum construction and low height of the Revelstoke offers the possibility of attaching a full 160kg to the quick-to-assemble cross beams of the upper shell. These are included as standard in the scope of delivery.

The GEAR ROCK ® Revelstoke PRO is a 1-2 person aluminum hard shell roof tent with triangular opening. This design is the fastest to unfold version on the market.

The aluminum roof tent impresses with its stability despite its low weight. With a height of just 21cm, it takes up little space on the roof and can still accommodate equipment inside (approx. 175L). The stable aluminum construction offers the possibility of attaching an additional 50kg to the quick-to-assemble cross beams of the upper shell. These are included as standard in the scope of delivery.

A completely circumferential double guide rail in the lower shell, offers the possibility that all recordings and Brackets can be freely positioned. Das Zeltstoffmaterial besteht aus einem Baumwolle/Polyester Mischgewebe (280g/qm), welches Ripstop verstärkt und somit besonders reißfest ist. An der Innenseite ist es darüberhinaus PU-beschichtet um das Weiterleiten von Feuchtigkeit zu verhindern (Schutz vor Schimmelbildung).

Eine besonders leichtgewichtige Honigwaben-Bodenplatte vereint hervorragende Stabilität als Liegefläche, mit einem geringen Gesamtgewicht (52kg) zum einfachen Aufklappen, Transport und Aufbau auf dem Fahrzeug. Gurthalterungen an der gegenüberliegenden Scharnierseite, sorgen für leichten Zugang und einfaches fixieren der Bodenplattenteile. Keine Kunststoff-Eckelemente sondern ausschließlich Aluminium Rundungen (extra flach), bringen eine langlebige Beweglichkeit des Zeltstoffes.

Der Transport-Schutzbezug besteht aus High-Density Polyester, mit PU-Beschichtung innen und 12000mm Wassersäule. Ein komplett umlaufender Reißverschluss (alle 4 Seiten) bietet ein einfaches und schnelles Öffnen ohne Einführung in die Kedernschiene. Durch sein mattes Ripstop Design gibt es wenig glänzende Farbgebung auf dem Fahrzeugdach, somit bleibt ihr unauffällig. 

Ihr wollt die Dachlast noch weiter reduzieren? An der Bodenplatte sind Federstifthalterungen verbaut, die die Teleskopleiter ganz einfach abnehmen lassen. Ohne Leiter kommt ihr auf ein Gewicht von gerade mal 46kg. Sie lässt sich auf eine Länge von 73cm zusammenschieben (ausgefahren max. 2,30m) und kann entweder an der Bodenplatte fixiert werden, sowie im Kofferraum oder im Inneren des Dachzeltes transportiert werden.

Beide Liegeflächenteile sind verbunden mit einem robusten Edelstahlscharnier und einem Bodenplattenabstand von insgesamt 18cm. Dieses bewusst konzipierte, weite Auseinanderstehen, sorgt für viel Platz im Inneren des Dachzeltes zum Verstauen von Bettzeug, Kissen oder dem beigefügten Thermo Inlay. Nutzt den extra Stauraum um mehr Platz im Fahrzeug zu behalten.

Im Innenraum wird besonders viel Platz und Bewegungsfreiheit geboten. Die auswählbaren Dachzeltbreiten kommen jeweils mit 240cm Liegeflächenlänge, perfekt für entsprechende Körpergrößen oder zur zusätzlichen Staunutzung des Fußraumes. Eine Innenhöhe von 107cm im Dachzelt bietet ideale Kopffreiheit und viel Bewegungsraum. 

Zur perfekten Temperaturregulierung im GEAR ROCK ® Chilkat, befinden sich zwei große Öffnungen im Dachzelthimmel (Skylights). Eine schützende Lage Moskitonetzgewebe und der darüber liegende Zeltstoff zum öffnen, sorgt an allen Eingängen des Dachzeltes für eine individuelle Einstellung. Aufheizende Luft reguliert ihr mit aufzippen dieser Skylights und schafft auf schnellstem Wege Abzug. Der darüber liegende Rainfly ist mit extra Abstands U-Stangen ausgestattet, was eine perfekte Unterlüftung bietet. Als zusätzlichen Hitzeschutz verfügt dieser ebenfalls über eine Reflektorbeschichtung auf der Unterseite.

Als Anpassung an jede Wetterlage verfügt das GEAR ROCK ® Chilkat 140 über einen überdachten Leiterbereich mit vorinstalliertem Reißverschluss für die Vorzeltergänzung. Auch hier sorgt das installierte Skylight für Helligkeit im Aufstieg und dem kompletten Vorzeltbereich. Das an 4-Seiten geschlossene Vorzelt (mit abzippbaren Bodenteil) und 180° Markisenfunktion wird ab April 2024 verfügbar sein.

Beim Chilkat handelt es sich um ein 4-Jahreszeiten Dachzelt, wie auch alle anderen Modelle der Marke GEAR ROCK ® (GEAR ROCK ® Package). Am Zeltstoff sind keine Zwangsbelüftungsöffnungen integriert, sondern 4 ausschließlich mit Reißverschluss ausgestattete, individuell einstellbare Zuluft Bereiche. Möchte man also keinen Lufteintritt bei kalten Temperaturen, so schließt man diese Bereiche komplett. Der atmungsaktive Zeltstoff, sowie der untere Eingangsöffnungsbereich, sorgen für ausreichend Belüftung. 

Nutzt bei besonders kalten Temperaturen im Winter oder der Übergangsjahreszeit, das bei allen GEAR ROCK ® Dachzelten standardmäßig beigefügte Thermo Inlay, um eine perfekte Isolierung zu bekommen. Ebenfalls dabei ist die 300g Daunendecke mit wasserabweisenden Bezug. Mit einer Größe von 180 x 210cm kann Sie im Dachzelt oder auch genauso im Freien verwendet werden.

Zum weiteren Zubehör gehören eine große Schuhtaschen Einheit mit Platz für 2 Paar Schuhe, ein großes Staunetz unter der Leiterplattform, sowie eine abnehmbare LED Leuchte die im Zelt befestigt werden kann. 

Im Inneren ist das GEAR ROCK ® Chilkat ausgestattet mit einer 6cm starken High Density Schaumstoff Matratze, geschützt in einem wasserabweisenden Schutzbezug. Zum Standard gehört ebenfalls ein 10mm starkes 3D Meshgewebe als Matratzenunterlage, für perfekte Unterlüftung und noch besseren Komfort.

Developed by Treeline according to the latest findings, the 4. Generation roof tent has more options and features than anything comparable on the market. The Tamarack roof tents are made from the best quality and most robust materials, are lighter and more aerodynamic and have patented, highly functional storage options. All tents are Solar Ready and have been developed in collaboration with Goal Zero® to integrate numerous solar powered product ranges.

The Tamarack is a 2-person roof tent that is available in a wide variety of color combinations. The double skylights allow natural light to penetrate the tent. It features a robust, high quality aluminum honeycomb base (Honeycomb), the strongest and most durable roof tent base on the market. Aluminum rods with a wall thickness of 2 millimeters make the Tamarack both light and particularly robust. And it comes with Treeline's oversized patent-pending awning windows that roll up for unobstructed views. Other features of the Tamarack include the patented utility and storage pockets, a storage net on the bottom for additional storage space, high-tech Diamond Ripstop Rainfly and heavy-duty rubber tabs for storing heavier equipment such as fishing, axes or paddles. As always, the Treeline roof tents set up in just a few minutes. Large hinges allow bedding to be stored when folded. It also comes with a built-in, water-protected, high-density, 6cm foam mattress for maximum sleeping comfort that can remain in the tent during the trip.
