The Redwood roof tents are made from the best quality and most robust materials, are lighter and more aerodynamic and have patented and highly functional storage options. All tents are Solar Ready and have been developed in collaboration with Goal Zero® to integrate numerous solar powered product ranges.
The Redwood is Treeline's largest roof tent and is ideal for families and larger circles of friends. The Treeline Redwood's dual skylights allow natural light to penetrate the tent. It features a robust, high quality aluminum honeycomb base (Honeycomb), the strongest and most durable roof tent base on the market. Aluminum rods with a wall thickness of 2 millimeters make the Tamarack both light and particularly robust. And it comes with Treeline's oversized patent-pending awning windows that roll up for unobstructed views. Other features of the Redwood include patented utility and storage pockets, a storage net on the bottom for additional storage, high-tech Diamond Ripstop Rainfly and heavy-duty rubber tabs for storing heavier gear such as a fishing rod, ax or paddle. As always, the Treeline roof tents set up in just a few minutes. Large hinges allow bedding to be stored when folded. GEAR ROCK ® Kootenay hard shell roof tent
GEAR ROCK ® - The new hard shell roof tent brand for all wilderness adventurers. Robust design meets maximum functionality for self-sufficient travel. Developed from practice, our demands flow into every detail. Overlanding in harsh conditions and all weather conditions. Equipped with a full range of accessories, handling is quick and easy. The GEAR ROCK ® Kootenay is a 2-person hard shell roof tent with a parallel opening top shell. The strong gas pressure springs enable assembly in just 30 seconds and are also so stabilizing that no lever locking is necessary.
The tent material consists of a cotton/polyester blend (280g/sqm), which reinforces ripstop and is therefore particularly tear-resistant. It is also PU-coated on the inside to prevent moisture from being passed on (protection against mold formation)
A surrounding, external aluminum frame in the underbody also ensures particular stability of the lower shell in connection with the vehicle. Strong materials and the lightweight design of the shells (fiberglass-reinforced ABS) combine in a low total weight of just 58kg.
For perfect adaptation to any weather situation, all entrance openings can be set up using tension rods. It has two side entrances and one at the rear. The telescopic ladder can be extended to 2.30 m.
Equipped with 2 removable shoebags, these can be placed anywhere, depending on where you choose to enter. The protected top prevents water from penetrating and therefore allows use in any weather.
Inside the GEAR ROCK ® Kootenay is equipped with a 6cm thick foam mattress, protected in a water-repellent (underside) and supple (velor) protective cover. The standard also includes a 10mm thick 3D mesh fabric as a mattress base.
Further accessories include 2 large inner pockets that have space for a laptop, power bank, etc. offer. Also included in the delivery is a removable LED light, a large storage net under the top shell, and a bag for the ladder that can be attached to the tent.
A highlight of the Kootenay's features is the 300g down duvet with a water-repellent cover. With a size of 180 x 210cm, it can be used in the roof tent or outdoors.
If you want to have a complete 360° panoramic view, the entire tent body can be easily zipped off. You can't get more views!
The scope of delivery also includes a thermal inlay, which can be attached to the tent if necessary. This means that the Kootenay can also be used without restrictions in the fourth season.
You can optionally equip the Kootenay with a 2000 x 2500mm awning. This is zipped to a protected, extra zipper strip under the upper shell . This gives you extra installation height, especially with low vehicles, because the awning gains a whole meter in height when the upper shell is opened.It can optionally be attached on both long sides, which brings enormous advantages when choosing a location.

The special feature of the Bivvy Loo is that the waste bags supplied are completely biodegradable.

The water-repellent outer material makes it particularly durable. GEAR ROCK ® attaches great importance to high-quality materials: 400T 100% nylon ensures waterproofness, is at the same time soft and comfortable, as well as protective for the insulating filling. This consists of 80% white down and has an expansion volume of 750 (Fill Down Power). So a very high level of thermal insulation.
